Refugee Resistance: Help Stop Cambodian Raids NOW!

We have been alerted that DHS/ICE are planning to roundup Cambodian community members for deportation on Thursday, October 3rd! Community members have received notices to check-in that day at detention centers across the country where they will face imminent detention and deportation. The systemic attacks enacted on the Cambodian and broader Southeast Asian community are nothing new, but have ramped up and become more aggressive under this current administration.

The Asian American Resource Workshop (AARW) and Asian Outreach Unit at Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS - AOU) held a rally on Monday to demand a stop of the Cambodian roundups/raids!

ACTION STEPS YOU CAN TAKE TO SUPPORT THE SOUTHEAST ASIAN COMMUNITY THIS WEEK:

-make calls and send emails to the Department of Homeland Security and Massachusetts Congressional members to demand a halt to the raids on Oct. 3rd: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1V2tj0Fu4N3o-NBIiwPZcknmXB1d_yShp/view?usp=sharing (feel free to print and share these with your networks to also support in making calls/emails)
