CANCELLED: Interfaith Prayer Vigil

Due to the recent decision by the Suffolk County Sheriff to end the jail’s contract with ICE, the South Bay facility will no longer be housing detainees. We are in conversation with our vigil partners about the next steps we can take to continue our prayerful support. If you would like to join this conversation please email Janine Carreiro-Young, MCAN Co-Director.

MCAN Leadership Institute: Breaking Down The House & Building The One We Want To Live In

  • Cathedral Camp Retreat Center (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

This country was founded on freedom and built on the institution of slavery. We are living in a house of white supremacy, capitalism, patriarchy and imperial christianity. What does living in this house cost each one of us? And how does it impact us collectively?

We need to build a new house.

Join partners in the MCAN Network as we gather this summer to build this new house as we deepen our relationships, broaden our knowledge and strengthen our commitment to equity and justice through transforming love.
