Faith institutions are uniquely positioned to shape conscience, form leaders, and move communities toward justice. MCAN exists to partner with clergy and institutions who are ready to live their faith, moral and spiritual life not only in word, but in public action.

MEMBERSHIP & DUES
MCAN is sustained by the shared commitment of our member institutions. Dues are not just a financial contribution—they are a concrete expression of alignment with this work and an investment in the leadership, organizing, and coordination required to win meaningful change.
We ask congregations and institutions to contribute 0.5%–1% of their annual operating budget, with most members giving between $300–$3,000 per year.
This shared investment makes it possible to:
Develop grassroots leaders
Sustain local and statewide organizing campaigns
Provide training, coaching, and coordination across communities
We recognize that capacity varies. What matters most is a commitment that is both meaningful and sustainable for your institution. Membership is about more than dues—but durable organizing requires real resources, and we ask all members to contribute in a way that reflects their values and their stake in this work.
