MCAN’s 2nd annual
School of Liberation.
This week long training focuses on the nuts and bolts of effective organizing based on MCAN's model. It focuses heavily on the importance of relationship building and listening and invites you to wrestle with what is preventing you from building authentic power. It will also equip you to conduct research that results in actions that will drive community transformation.
This training involves deep agitation. Participants who come into this space should be aware that they will be invited to wrestle with their own stories, what calls them into this work, and what’s at stake. The training itself is not just a training, but a full body experience and attending should be taken seriously.
